Parking

Make sure to park at Georgia state side of the trail. It’s really hard to find the trail on the Atlanta Radio control club side.

One out favorite. Great track. Smooth. Well maintained. Only one part of town that gets a little rough as far as crossing busy roads. Still one of my favs!!

Silver Comet Trail

A wonderful trail!

Rode May 4 & 5th, 2023. A fabulous trail! So well maintained! Surrounded by trees on most of the trail. First 20 to 30 miles from Smyrna are probably the easiest.

Cochran Shoals Trail

Nice but overcrowded

May, 2023 by kylwhitlock

This is a really nice trail that runs beside the Chattahoochee river. Beautiful areas and we saw multiple deer feeding in the woods along our walk. This is a very popular trail though. It is recommended that you donate to the trail at the trailhead they have digital method available which was convenient. This biggest issue is getting a parking space. I have never been to this trail where the it is not packed.

Rottenwood Creek Trail

Great trail with some issues.

May, 2023 by kylwhitlock

This trail is great as it is not overcrowded. It has some really great areas to walk by the water with some beautiful rapids. It does suffer from some low level areas that could get really wet and muddy at times. It also goes under a lot of overpasses for 285 and access roads which makes some sections loud and not so picturesque but those areas are in no way the majority of the trail and a fair trade off for a less crowded trail and the more beautiful sections. The trail head near Windy Hill road does not have designated trail parking but on a Sunday there is plenty of parking in a business parking lot.

South River Trail

Trash cans !!!!! EMPTY THEM ALL !!!! THEY STINK!!!!

April, 2023 by p6hy9krvhg

Some one needs to EMPTY the trash cans on this trail especially pass the community center and basketball court……. I’ve rode this trail for months now and I see the same trash can below the bridge tunnel flowing over with all sorts of crap including tampons!!!!! And in hot days you can barely ride pass it without the smell knocking you clean OUT……. PLEASE empty ALL TRASH CANS on the trail ! Other than the trash cans I do enjoy camping he trail .

Rottenwood Creek Trail

Wow! No clue why this trail has no reviews. It is a special hidden gem with lots of steep grades that run along the water. There are several bridges as well.I rode an electric scooter.
