I have done this trail first thing in the morning it does stay pretty busy. It is 2 miles each way. You have a choice of dirty or pavement. Nice trail on a relatively busy street with wild life and a resturants to the opposite side.
Visiting the area and had my skates with me so woke up early and hit all the different paths down and back. All in all did just about 20 miles total and only hit each section twice (down & back). Now there are a couple boardwalk sections either made out of wood or those plastic planks so be careful hitting the one with plastic planks when there is morning dew on the ground. Some parts are definitely more scenic than others! Saw deer, alligators, squirrels, and ducks. Maybe next time I’ll get to see a swamp ape too! Also if you decide to start real early before the suns up I recommend getting some type of light with you as some sections can be pretty dark.
Started in Titusville and rode 20 miles yesterday. Found some delicious coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants in downtown Titusville. Rode 30 miles today. Trail flat and sunny if starting in Titusville - wear sunscreen. Will be back in the future.
When complete, this will be a great trail. But it is in different sections that are not connected. I only did the southern 2 sections on the map. Nice rides on picturesque trails.
We did almost 10 miles in this beautiful trail. Very well maintained and nice neighborhoods. Not crowded and easy to find.
Rode 6 miles out and back. Very nice clean and not busy (we biked on a Monday) . Worth to drive to Space View Park to start.
As we are from Canada and brought our bikes with us, we tried this trail from 994 Enterprise Osteen Rd parking area and biked to the highway 95. Our ride was 45 miles round trip and the road was excellent condition. The scenery (mostly trees) was nice for mid January 77 degrees sunny weather. No picnic area found, few bench to take a break and no restroom found. Except at the start are. Overall it’s a great ride for exercise!
This is actually a very small slice of the famous Florida Trail/Eastern Continental Trail :)
Rode east from Ostend to nearly Mayfield and back. Really well maintained trail with great shade. Only negative is the trail is often close to the Mayfield Road so the motorcycles and pickup trucks ruin much of the peace of the ride.
Great trail, but closed in at least 2 sections for repairs
Rode December 27, 2022… Great path! Smooth, well marked, not a ton of traffic. Started at Green Springs and rode NW to Lake Beresford Park trailhead. Wished it was finished…wanted to go to the north end but only connection was via busy roadway! On the trip back we took the trail to the South Gemini Springs Trailhead and encountered a wild hog as we headed back to the main trail!! We knew there had to be more because we could smell them! Yikes!! Seen a lot of things on trails as we have ridden trails in all 50 states and all the provinces/territories in Canada, but this was a first. We’ll be back!
